Primark Recruitmentfor US Launch

Primark may well be one of the most talked about fashion retailers in the UK and Europe, but opening 9 new stores in the US meant entering a new market where they were relatively unknown. What Primark needed was an EVP and a 6-month outsourcing solution that would resonate with the US market and establish the brand in Boston, New York and Philadelphia, so they teamed up with TWI to build an effective campaign that was led by insight and delivered across all objectives.

The solution chosen was a 6-month outsourcing programme to kick-start the US recruitment and secure key positions, build brand awareness and position Primark as one of the biggest European retailers and an excellent choice for candidates. It focussed on the passive market through direct sourcing, moving away from traditional advertising and targeting key players in order to get the proposition straight into the candidates' hands.

One of the main achievements was building awareness of Primark within Boston and Philadelphia. The success of our partnership led us to recruit for their entire HR function in Boston.
