In this role, you will be supporting our clients’ recruitment needs as an extension of their talent acquisition team. You will successfully manage searches against a timeline and utilize experience setting benchmarks and metrics. It is critical to understand how to prioritize! Position Overview

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for market mapping and organizational profiling. He or she will also be responsible for identifying candidates for hard to fill/niche/senior positions while building talent pools for succession planning. They will manage on-going engagement with talent pools and understand the talent available to facilitate informed hiring decisions. Finally, the candidate will communicate with clients by providing data, status updates and overall information about the recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to deeply understand technical requirements of the role, the function and how it fits into the organization
  • Proactively research and generate new/creative sourcing ideas
  • Maintain and develop internal database: Track candidate history, tag candidates, build knowledge base of individuals, industries and markets
  • Keep abreast of trends, developments and industry activity (research the competitive landscape and provide relevant information feeds to the business)
  • Ensure an excellent candidate experience through prompt follow up and communication with candidates
  • Send communications to both internal candidates and client partners to closely maintain relationships
  • Interact with a diverse global pool of candidates while conducting telephone screens
  • Schedule and coordinate qualified candidates to speak with the internal recruitment team

Position Qualifications

  • 1 – 3 years of recruiting or sourcing experience for a search firm and/or in-house Talent Acquisition team
  • Excellent research/sourcing skills with the ability to dive into deep into searches for hard-to-fill requisitions
  • Ability and desire to engage candidate by phone and email
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Self-starter with an incredible work ethic and team first mentality
  • Current with social technologies, sourcing methodologies and tools
  • Creative thinking to continuously come up with innovative ways of identifying, connecting and engaging with candidates
  • Strong customer focus, attention to detail and organization skills
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs
