Online car marketplace cinch is changing the way we buy and sell cars, giving customers more choice and control. Due to increased demand throughout the pandemic and limited recruitment capabilities in house cinch needed help expanding its product and engineering squads with the goal of creating a Manchester tech hub.
Our team began direct sourcing to recruit tech talent to fill various roles in cinch’s product and engineering squads including user researchers, infrastructure engineers, software engineers, product owners and business analysts.
To assist the sourcing capabilities, we ran a targeted digital attraction campaign across LinkedIn, Facebook, Google Search and Display. This campaign aimed to raise employer brand awareness for cinch amongst relevant tech talent in Manchester as well as drive applications through lead generation and a branded landing page. cinch have a huge consumer brand, and are currently one of the biggest advertisers in the UK, but their employer brand messaging was new to the market. The aim was to position cinch as the premier tech employer in Manchester and to encourage digital applications.
